In addition, with the new innovated design and ergonomic joints it is constructed with solid aluminum alloy, which helps mount the light both on the dental unit and on the ceiling with a new pin for insertion that is easily replaceable with different pins of different diameters.  
Alya also features an optical project with reflected light (patented) that reflects facets of each of the two parabolas creating an absolute uniform spotlight area. Additionally, this device helps reduce shadow effect that is produced by the instrument. Due to the advanced electronic device, it provides progressive regulation of light intensity. Additional features are the chromatic performance (CRI) – reduces blue color components in favor of the red component, limiting the potential photochemical risk and FARO HANDINESS – best precision in the orientation of the light beam, reducing the risk of an accidental dazzling for the patient.
